After completing his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Dr. Nees earned a Doctor of Medicine at Cornell University Weill Medical Center. Dr. Nees continued his training with a general surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Harbor Medical Center before finishing an additional residency in plastic surgery at University-of-Miami-affiliated Jackson Memorial Hospital.
