Dr. John Edward Nees is an esteemed Miami plastic surgeon specializing in facelifts, breast augmentation, liposuction, fat transfers, and the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). A board-certified plastic surgeon with more than four decades of experience, Dr. Nees offers unparalleled talent and expertise for clients seeking procedures that allow them to feel more confident about their appearance.
After completing his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Dr. Nees earned a Doctor of Medicine at Cornell University Weill Medical Center. Dr. Nees continued his training with a general surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Harbor Medical Center before finishing an additional residency in plastic surgery at University-of-Miami-affiliated Jackson Memorial Hospital. Patients of Dr. Nees appreciate his passion and enthusiasm for the surgical arts. He is constantly participating in additional training to stay current with the latest surgical technologies and techniques that enable him to give patients the most impressive results with as little downtime as possible. In his free time, Dr. Nees is an avid, Julliard-trained pianist.
